Event Information
Manipur University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the Doctorate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -
Course Name: Doctor of Philosophy
Educational Qualification:
For SR. No. 1 to 23:- Candidates who have passed the PG examination in the concerned/allied subject with 55% marks or above /B Grade in the seven-point scale or above (50% marks for SC/ST/ OBC (non creamy layer), Differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Masters degree prior to 19th September 1991) and those who have appeared the qualifying examination and waiting for results are eligible to apply for provisional admission into Pre-Ph.D Programme.
For SR. No. 24:- Candidate who has passed (a) M.Tech//M.E in relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/University or (b) B.Tech/B.E. in relevant discipline with at least 8.5 CGPA or 80 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university with a valid GATE score.
Address to send the application: The Candidate must fill in the application form and send it to the Department of Anthropology, Manipur University along with relevant documents.
