Post Name: General Manager (Commercial)

Essential Qualification: Full time B.E./B.TECH in Mechanical/Production / Electronics / Electrical / Naval Architecture / Ship Building from a recognized university / AICTE approved institution.

Work Experience: 20 years post qualification experience in Management level in a PSU/Defence Shipbuilding PSU dealing with purchase / commercial function in a large process industry / heavy engineering industry/manufacturing sector with hands-on experience in formulating / processing of tender for different procurement  (both from indigenous and global sources), handling procurement & commercial activities for multiple large scale projects at local as well as global levels including projects being developed in India in collaboration with International agencies, Contracts,  Inventory Management, Development of New Vendors, Sub Contract, Work Contract,  Global Tenders, etc. Should possess a thorough knowledge of procurement procedures followed by Government organizations / CPSUs, taxation provisions, Import/Export  Procedures, INCOTERMS, and relevant compliances. Knowledge and exposure to modern concepts of Purchase, Supply Chain Management, Stores, Inventory Control,  Foreign Exchange Regulations, Customs Clearance, etc. Knowledge and exposure in formulating Policies and Procedures in commercial Functions are necessary.
