District Health and Family Welfare Samiti Howrah invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Ophthalmic Assistant

Essential Qualification:

  1. Higher Secondary passed (10+2) from a recognized Board/Institute with Physics, Chemistry and Biology

  2. 2 year Diploma in Paramedical Ophthalmic Assistant Course or two years diploma in Optometry & Ophthalmic technique recognized by the Govt of West Bengal

Desirable:

  1. One-year training after acquiring in Optometry recognized by the Govt WB, in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Act. 1950 and Rules made thereafter.

  2. Preference to be given who have passed from RIO and other Govt Hospital with Govt stipends.
