National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Promotion

Post Name: Assistant Professor (Organic Chemistry)

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories Administrations or Recognized Research Institutes or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory Organisations:-

1. Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

2. With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-10 (56,100-1,77,500) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department; and

3. Masters degree in Organic Chemistry or Masters Degree in Chemistry with Organic Chemistry as one of the papers from a recognised University or Institute; and

4. Five years experience of research work in Organic Chemistry or five years working experience in sugar factory or distillery or other related industrial units or five years teaching experience at degree level in Organic Chemistry; or

5. Doctorate degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute with essential qualification viz; Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or Master’s Degree in Chemistry with Organic Chemistry as one of the papers from a recognised University or Institute; and

6. Three years working experience in sugar factory or distillery or other related industrial units or three years teaching experience at degree level in Organic Chemistry.
