Birla Institute of Technology Mesra invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

For JRF: B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing/ Production & Industrial/Materials/Metallurgical Engineering/Laser Technology Welding Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute in India with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a ten-point scale and with qualified CSIR-UGCNET including Lectureship or GATE or qualified through National Examination of Government Departments and Agencies.

For other than JRF (Project Associate-I): B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Production / Manufacturing/Production & Industrial / Materials/ Metallurgical Engineering/Laser Technology/ Welding Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute in India with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a ten-point scale.

Desirable:

• GATE-qualified candidates will be preferred.

• Candidates with past research experience in the relevant field and a desire to pursue a PhD will be given preference.
