Ministry of External Affairs invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Post Name: Director (Library and Information)

Essential Qualification : Master Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognised University or Institute.

Essential Work Experience: Ten years experience in a Library under Central Government or State Government or Autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or University or recognised research or educational institution.

Desirable:

(1) One year experience of computerising library activities in a library under the Central Government or State Government or autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or University or recognized research or educational institution; or

(2) One year experience of indexing, abstracting and retrieval of documents of information using library management software or

(3) Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute; or

(4) Certificate course of six months duration in one or two foreign languages other than English from a recognised University or Institute.
