Post Name: Assistant Professor/Reader

Essential Qualification:

To be considered for the above positions, candidate should have PhD degree in Physics and at least two and five years of post-doctoral experiences in relevant field for Assistant Professor (E) and Reader (F), respectively. The minimum requirement of qualification and/or experience may be relaxed in respect of exceptionally outstanding candidates. Candidate should have good quality publications in refereed journals and the work should show the ability of the candidate to carry out independent research. The candidate is required to provide names of three referees who will be able to assess his/her work. In addition, the Institute will seek letters of reference from at least two independent referees, for those candidates who are shortlisted after screening.
