Essential Qualification:

1. Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognised board with at least 50% marks, OR

2. Senior Secondary (Class XII or its equivalent) from recognized board with at least 45% marks in accordance with the NCTE Regulation, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002, AND;

3. Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than two years, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Recruitment Details

Education Department Chandigarh Administration invites application for various posts. Total 131 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number DSE-UT-S6-11(78)20. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 37, depending on the specific post. Corrigendum Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invited application to fill up 131 post of Nursery Teachers. Last date for submission of application was 30.9.2019 and last date to deposit the fee was 04.10.2019. Written Test for the post of NTT was conducted on 16.11.2019 by NITTTR, Sector 26, Chandigarh.Govt of Punjab, Finance Department vide letter no. 7/42/2020-5FP1/741-746 dated 17-07-2020, issued instructions regarding new pay scales for the fresh recruitment/appointment. Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department vide letter no.7000/1/1-F&PO(7)/2020/12240 dated 17-09-2020 has adopted the instructions of Govt. of Punjab dated 17-07-2020 in respect of employees of Chandigarh Administration with the stipulation that the respective Administrative Department, wherein recruitment process has already been initiated and at final stage, may issue the corrigendum regarding admissibility of pay scale on fresh recruitment/appointments/compassionate appointments before the offer of appointments to the prospective candidates.Accordingly, Education Department, Chandigarh Administration vide notification no. DSE-UT-S6-11(78)20 dated 25-05-2021 notified new pay scales in respect of Nursery Teachers (NTT) with the prior concurrence of Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration and these pay scales/matrix are also applicable to this recruitment of 131 posts of Nursery Teachers	Education Department, Chandigarh Administration invited application to fill up 131 post of Nursery Teachers.
