Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology with atleast two years research experience after postgraduation (OR) M.Tech in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology.

Desirable:

  • Passed NET/GATE/equivalent exam.

  • Candidates with strong background in biostatistics and bioinformatics regarding NGS data analysis will be given preference.

  • Candidates must be comfortable with the Linux operating system and command-line interface.

  • Candidates must be well versed with at least one programming language, R/Python, etc.

  • Candidates with strong background in biostatistics and bioinformatics regarding NGS data analysis will be given preference.

  • Candidates with experience in clinical research in psoriasis biology with publications in the field and hands- on experience in advanced molecular techniques such as RT-PCR, DNA sequencing, microarray and a strong background in biostatistics will be given preference.
