Essential Qualification:

1. The qualifications eligibility, salary and other terms and conditions of the appointment of a candidate will be governed by the provisions of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021 .

2. A per Rule 3 (9) of the Tribunal (conditions of service) Rules, 2021, a person shall not be. qualified for appointment as chairperson of Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, unless he.

3. ls, or has been, a Judge of a High Court

4. Has been a member of the Indian Legal service with ten years of experience in litigation and has herd a post of Additional secretary or any equivalent or any higher post;

5. Has held the office of presiding officer of a Debts Recovery Tribunal for three years.
