University of North Bengal invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Undergraduate Programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -


Course name: B.Sc. (Honours) in Geology

Essential Qualification:

(i) Candidates who have passed (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board with English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Geology as combination subjects.

(ii) Who have obtained 60% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination.

(iii) Persons belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities Category are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination.

Course name: B.Sc. (Honours) in Anthropology

Essential Qualification:

(i) Candidates who have passed (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board with English (Compulsory as first or second language), and two of the following subject: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography and Statistics.

(ii) Who have obtained 60% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination.

(iii) Persons belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities Category are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination

Course name: B.Sc. (Honours) in Tea Science

Essential Qualification:

(i) Candidates who have passed (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board with Biology and any combination of subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Geography.

(ii) However candidates passing 10+2 from Vocational Course of Agriculture shall also be eligible.

(iii) Persons belonging to SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities Category are eligible to apply if they have passed (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board with Biology and any combination of subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Geography.

Course name: B.A., L.L.B. (Honours)

Essential Qualification:

(i) Candidates who have passed (10+2) Examination from a recognized Board,

(ii) Who have obtained 45% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination.

(iii) Persons belonging to SC/ST/Persons with disabilities Category are eligible to apply if they have secured at least 40% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying Examination.
