Mormugao Port Authority invites applications for the following posts via Direct Recruitment/Absorption/Deputation:

Post Name: Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer

Essential Qualification:

1. MBBS Degree from a Recognised University

2. A Postgraduate Medical Degree in the specified from a Recognised University

Essential Work Experience:

(i) For absorption through composite method, Officers holding analogous posts or holding the post of Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and equivalent Specialist posts in Medical Department in the scale of pay Rs. 13000-18250 with 3 years regular service in the grade in a Major Port Trust or;

Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) and equivalent Specialist posts in Medical Department with 2 years regular service in the grade and a combined regular service of 7 years in the scales of pay Rs. 10750-16750 and Rs. 13000-18250 in Specialist cadre of Medical Dept. in a Major Port Trust will be eligible. 

(ii) For Deputation, Officers holding analogous posts or holding posts of Deputy Chief Medical Officers (Specialist) and equivalent specialist posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 13000-18250 in Medical Department, in Govt/Semi Govt/PSUs or; autonomous Bodies with 3 years regular service in the grade will be eligible. The selection is by merit for which the bench mark in overall grading in the ACRs will not be below very good
