Post Name:Senior Consultant

Essential Qualification:

  • MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/BPT+MD/MPH/MHA/Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management/MBA in Health Management

  • Minimum of 5+years’ experience in the field of public health of which 2-3 years’ experience in Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) with government at national or state level. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with NHM/RCH at National/State level.

  • Familiarity with the Indian health system, key stakeholders and relevant government policies/strategies particularly National I Heath Mission

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities

  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing RCH trainings programs at field level.

  • Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages likes MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.

  • Ability to handle a variety of assignment under pressure of deadlines

  • Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments.

  • Formula educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published work of high quality or whenever there is work experience of specific relevance

  • Post Graduate degree in Social Work/ Health Management/MBA from a reputed and recognized institution;

  • Minimum 5+ years of Post Qualification experience preferably in development sector;

  • Familiarity with the public health system and relevant government policies/strategies, particularly National Health Mission and State Health Societies will be an advantage;

  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi;

  • Proficiency in managing social media accounts with high level of familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Power Point;

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment;

  • Preference would be given to the candidate having experience of working with Centre/State/ UT health department.

  • Conditions of formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is publishes work of High quality or whenever there is work experience of specific relevance.
