National Institute of Technology Durgapur invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  1. 2-year M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in CSE/IT/equivalent with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/University and B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks from any recognized Institute or University.

  2. MCA/MSc. in Computer Science/Mathematics/allied areas with a minimum of 7 CGPA or 50% marks from any recognized Institute/University and relevant NET qualification (in JRF) /GATE (Qualified/valid Score) in Computer Science/Mathematics.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms is essential.

  2. Knowledge of Computational Geometry and basic complexity theory will be given extra credit.

  3. Programming skill C/Python/MATLAB.

  4. Good speaking and writing skills in English
