Post Name: Project Assistant
Essential Qualification: B.Sc Geology / Applied Geology / Marine Geology / Earth Sciences.
Desirable: The candidate having proficiency computer. The candidate should have a valid passport.Curation of samples in the repository. Integrated samples information system and allied databases for ease of archival and retrieval of samples. Documentation and office management tasks. The selected candidates will have to participate in oceanographic cruises as and when required.
Post Name: Project Associate-II
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Geology / Applied Geology / Earth Sciences.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum two years research experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: The candidate having proficiency in sample digestion, handling geochemistry related instruments like XRF / ICP-MS and Scientific publications in SCI journal will be preferred. Proficiency in various computer applications. The candidate should have a valid passport. Selected candidate will have to do sub-sample and digest marine sediments / rocks / nodule for trace metal and isotopic analyses, prepare the samples for XRF analyses. The selected candidates will have to participate in oceanographic cruises as and when required.

(i) M.Sc Geology / Applied Geology / Earth Sciences.
(ii) M.Sc. in Oceanography / Marine Science/ Physical Oceanography.
Desirable:
(i) The candidate having proficiency in sample digestion, handling geochemistry related instruments like XRF / ICP-MS is preferred. The candidate should have a valid passport.Selected candidate will have to do sub-sample and digest marine sediments / rocks / nodule for trace metal and isotopic analyses, prepare the samples for XRF analyses.
