Essential Qualification:

  1. Must have passed in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.

  2. Possessing a Pass certificate in Library and information Science from institutions as per Memo. No.365/MEE/Sectt.,Dt.-15.03.2023 of the Dept. of Mass Education Extension and Library Services, W.B.

    Training Centre attached to the Bengal Library Association.

    Training Centre attached to the District Library, Ramkrishna Mission Boys Home, Rahara

    Training Centre attached to Janata College at Kalimpong and Banipur.

    Any other training Centre recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose.

  3. Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Library & Information Science or Equivalent are also eligible to apply.

  4. Basic Knowledge in Computer Application

  5. Knowledge of Bengali.
