Exam name: B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) Entrance Competitive Examination 2022

Educational Qualification: 

(A) B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)

(i) 10+2 Class Passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE or other equivalent board.

(ii) Student Appearing in 10+2 examination in science conducted by National Institute of open school with 45% Marks.

(B) B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic)

(i) Passed Intermediate Or 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized university or Passed 10+1 in or before 1986.
(ii) Obtained a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as RNRM with the State Nurse Registration Council.

(iii) A male nurse trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a Nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

  • O.T. Techniques

  • Ophthalmic Nursing

  • Leprosy Nursing

  • TB Nursing

  • Psychiatric Nursing

  • Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing

  • Community Health Nursing

  • Cancer Nursing

  • Orthopedic Nursing

Admission Details

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number JCECEB/36/22-54. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Economically Weaker Sections, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and PWBD Quota. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, 834002.

Candidates willing to enroll in non-government nursing institutions located in Jharkhand state for BSc Nursing (Basic) and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) courses can also apply till the last date of online application till 14/09/2022.

Result Declared

The candidates who appeared in the Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (ANM GNM) 2022 and B.Sc Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination (Basic Post-Basic) 2022 held on 25.09.2022 are hereby informed that the result of the said examinations has been issued, which the Board has received. On the homepage of the official site http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, by weaving the name of the competitive examination in the Result Column, the result can be uncharged (Download) by following the instructions given. The first online interview is being conducted on 14.10.2022 for the recommendation of enrollment on the basis of examination results. Along with this, objection was invited by publishing the answer keys of the four sets of the said examination on the website of the Board on 27.09.2022 till 05:00 PM of 30.09.2022. The final answer key has been uploaded on the Boards website after resolving each one of the objections received by the experts against the objections received.

First Round Counselling Date has been Released For B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post-Basic) Courses. Online Registration, Uploading of documents starts from 14-10-2022 to 18-10-2022. Documents verification will held form 22-10-2022 to 31-10-2022.
