National Institute of Technology Durgapur invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Research Associate-II
Essential Qualification:
PhD in Electrochemistry/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Energy Science and Engineering/Physics/Materials science or any relevant discipline with throughout excellent academic background.
Expertise in nanomaterial synthesis, their characterization and analysis using techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, UV-DRS, AFM, XPS, BET, etc in addition to in-depth knowledge of electrochemical methods such as cyclic voltammetry, ac impedance spectroscopy and galvanostatic cycling.
Excellent written communication skill demonstrated through high quality publication in the relevant topic, preferably as the first author.
Essential Work Experience: Experience in Glove box handling and Li/Na-ion battery electrodes, or similar chemistries will be considered advantageous.
Desirable: Post-doctoral experience (of 1-2 years) in the relevant topic is desirable.
