Headquarters Coast Guard Region North-West invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment/Deputation:

For Direct recruitment:

Post Name: Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade)

Essential Qualification:

(a) 10 Standard Pass. 

(b) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles. 

(C) Should have at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles. 

(d) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove defects in vehicles)

For Deputation:

Post Name: Mechanical Fitter

Essential Qualification: Person serving under the Central Government:

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis.

OR 

(ii) Holding post carrying the pay scale of L1 and possessing the educational qualification and experience as mentioned below:

Desirable

Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized; reputed workshop in the relevant trace under Apprentice Act 1961 or under any other recognised Apprenticeship Scheme.

OR

Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from a ITI recognized for this purpose and have 1 year trade experience.

Qualification:

(a) Matriculation or equivalent 

(b) Should Qualify a trade entrance examination
