National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Promotion:

Post Name: Professor (Agriculture Chemistry)

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central or State Governments or Union Territory or Recognized Research Institutes or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization:-

• Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ Department

• with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto in Level-12 (78800-209200) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre/ Department

• With ten years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto in Level-11 (67700-208700) in the pay matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre/ Department

• Masters degree in Agriculture Chemistry or Masters degree in Chemistry with Agriculture Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognised University or Institute

• Doctorate in Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute with essential qualifications specified above, viz., Masters degree in Agriculture Chemistry or Masters degree in Chemistry with Agriculture Chemistry as one of the subject, from recognised University or Institute

Essential Work Experience: 

• Twelve years experience of research work in Agriculture Chemistry or twelve years working experience in cane department of sugar factory or other related industrial units or twelve years teaching experience at degree level in Agriculture Chemistry

• five years working experience in cane department of sugar factory or other related industrial units or five years teaching experience at degree level in Agriculture chemistry
