National Museum invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Direct Recruitment :

Essential Qualification :

(1) Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations:

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department;

(ii) with five years service in the grade of rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Matrix level No. 10 (56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(iii) with six years service in the grade of rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Matrix level No. 8 (47600-151100) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(iv) with seven years service in the grade of rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Matrix level No. 7 (44900-142400) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(v) with ten years regular service in the grade of rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Matrix level No. 6 (35400-112400) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;

(2) Masters Degree in Chemistry from a Recognized University.

Essential Work Experience : Five years experience in the application of science in examination and analysis or preservation of museums materials.

Desirable :

(1) Evidence of published work in the field.

(2) Training or experience abroad from a recognized institute or university.
