Essential Qualification:

1. 5+ years experience with architecting and implementation of large-scale Data Analytics platforms, including building ETL processes, data pipelines, - 5+ years experience with architecting and implementation of large-scale Data Analytics platforms, including building ETL processes, data pipelines, data governance, master data management and integrations.

2. Experience with Apache Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem (or equivalent alternative), including massively-parallel-processing (MPP) models, real-time processing and analytics, data ingestion (batched and streamed) and data storage solutions. Familiarity with technologies such as Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, Presto

3. Experience developing software in one or more programming languages, such as: Java, JavaScript, Python, R, C++, etc.

4. Experience with OLAP databases such as Redshift, Teradata, Netezza, Vertica.

5. Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

6. Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.

7. Strong communication and data presentation skills, familiarity with using data visualization tools.

8. Excellent writing and speaking English skills 

Desirable:

1. Cloud Certification in Solutions Architecture or Specialty (Database, Data Analytics, Machine Learning).

2. Big Data Architect experience with Cloud or other modern data analytics stacks

3. Experience with Cloud Infra services or similar services of other public providers in a variety of distributed computing enterprise environments.

4. Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, ETL, BI reporting and Dashboard development.

5. Knowledge of BI / data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Spotfire, MicroStrategy, Cognos or any other open source tools).

6. Experience with tools such as Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue.
