Labour Bureau Chandigarh invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption/Re-Employment:

Post Name: EDP Manager

Essential Qualification:

Officers under the Central/State Govt./Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Public Undertakings/Statutory or Autonomous Organization:

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or

(ii) with 5 years of regular service in posts in a scale of 2200-4000 (pre-revised, 4th CPC) or equivalent.

(iii) With 8 years regular service in posts in the scale of 2000-3500 (pre-revised, 4th CPC) or equivalent; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Essential:

(i) Master degree in Statistics/Mathematics (with Statistics)/Operation Research/ Physics or Economics /Commerce (with Statistics) or Degree in Engineering/Computer Science of a recognized University or equivalent.

Essential Work Experience: 7 years of electronic data processing work, out of which at least 3 years of experience should be in actual programming on an electronic computer.

Desirable:

(i) Master degree in Engineering or Doctorate degree in any of the subjects mentioned in Essential Qualifications.

(ii) Formal training in Computer Programming/system design/analysis.
