Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Under Secretary

Essential Qualification: 

  1. Officers working in Central Government Offices, PSUS, Institutions, etc. or Retired Goverment Officials holding analogous post

  2. 5 years service in the grade after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in Level-10 in the pay matrix or equivalent in parent cadre or department

  3. from retired personnel from Central Government services, applicant should have rendered at least five years of service at the level of US or equivalent Officers retired at the level of US or equivalent in from any Central Government Organization, Ministries Departments may apply.

  4. Officers retiring on 31.10.2022 or before at the level of US or equivalent in any Central Government Organization, Ministries and Departments can also apply.

Desirable: 

(a) Experience of working in International Cooperation, Multilateral Division and analogous Divisions.

(b) Experience, if any, of handling international meetings and events.
