Indian Institute of Technology Ropar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification:

1. BTech/BE or MTech/ME in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

2. Candidates with masters degree in chemical engineering and relevant experience as detailed in the job description will be given preference.

Desirable:

  • 2 years experience in handling high pressure, high temperature reactors

  • Experience in fabrication and setting up bench-scale reactors

  • Synthesis and characterisation of heterogeneous catalysts

  • Performing catalyst deactivation studies and determining deactivation mechanisms

  • Creating chemical process simulation models on process simulator packages

  • Modelling reaction kinetics

  • Development of novel downstream applications of the process.

  • Proven scientific writing skills and a strong knowledge of engineering principles
