CSIR Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Senior Project Associate

Essential Qualification :

(1) Doctoral Degree in Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Botany or related field from a recognized University or equivalent

(2) Candidate should note that non-fulfillment of the eligibility criterion will result in cancellation of candidature at any stage

Essential Work Experience : The period of experience in a discipline / area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications prescribed for that post.

Desirable :

(1) Fieldwork experience of at least two years in plant ecology and/or trait ecology

(2) Ability and strong interest in taxonomic identification of plants

(3) Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with data analysis in Program R

(4) Demonstrated track record of publications

(5) Excellent communication and time-management skills

(6) Strong work ethic and independent project management abilities

(7) Ability to work in remote locations and tough conditions

(8) Experience using linear mixed effects models with good knowledge of model inference
