Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in JRF programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Educational Qualification:

M. Sc in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology
M. Sc in Physics/Biophysics/ Chemistry (General Chemistry/ Polymer Chemistry/ Nano Chemistry/Physical Chemistry)
M.Sc in Mathematics/ Applied Maths/ Maths & Computing/ Statistics; B.Tech/Masters in IT/Computer Science/ Computer Applications/EEE
Candidates shall be eligible to apply for admission and registration within the ongoing program of research at IASST, if he/she has obtained 55% marks in aggregate (Equivalent CGPA in 10-point scale) in the master’s degree examination. A candidate belonging to SC/ST who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate in master degree examination shall also be eligible to apply.

Admission Details

Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Certification and Fellowship. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 376. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes, Women and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. The selection process will include an Interview process. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Guwahati, Assam, India, 781009.
