National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Assistant Professor (Sugar Engineering)

Essential Qualification:

• Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Autonomous bodies or Statutory Organizations:- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

• With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level- 10 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or Department;

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;

• Associateship of National Sugar Institute in Sugar Engineering awarded by National Sugar Institute or post-graduate diploma in Sugar Engineering from Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune after completion degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute;

Essential Work Experience: Four years practical or research or teaching or advisory experience of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering work in a responsible capacity, involving designing, erection and operation of up-to-date sugar manufacturing plant.

Desirable:

• Post-graduate degree in relevant branch of Engineering;

• One year experience of designing or operation or erection of modern sugar p1ant.
