Essential Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering diploma from a recognised university.

Essential Work Experience:

• Officers/Officials who have retired from Central/State Governments PSUs. Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Government R and D Organization and possessing practical knowledge and experience in the field for which he/she is applying (as per TOR).

• Persons possessing experience of having worked with DRDO would be accorded preference during selection/ appointment.

• He/ She should have effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for in-depth examination of his/her areas of work.

• Please ensure that persons retired in the pay level-08 should only apply.

• Knowledge of DSR / SSR / Similar Estimation Systems / Modules.

• Knowledge of Defence Works Procedure / Similar Procedures followed in Works Departments of other Organisations.

• Knowledge and Experience of E-Tendering/GeM.

• Experience of Scrutiny of Estimates and Bills.

• Knowledge and Experience of Works supervision and Monitoring of Project work /Sites/Maintenance Works etc related to Electrical/Mechanical installation, DG Sets etc.

Desirable:

• Experience of Works Services with DRDO.

• Knowledge and experience of Labour Laws and mandatory statutory payments / welfare measures/ entitlements of the hired Labour.

• Knowledge and Experience of Estate Management Practices like, operation and maintenance of E/M installation. B/R works, maintenance of DG sets, Term contracts (B and R).
