National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name : Research Associate

Essential Qualification : Ph D (Food Tech / Food Science and Technology related areas eg Food Engineering, Dairy Tech, Food Technology & Management, Food Science)/(Chemical Engineering)/(Biotech)/(Post Harvest Technology) Physics/Chemistry along with : Exposure in the area of nano-biotech (including synthesis of nanomaterials, Nano-emulsions, bioactive Nano formulations and nano-coatings) or coating of fruits for extending their shelf life

Essential Work Experience : There must be minimum one research publication (as per ‘a)’ above in support of exposure claim Experience above. However it is desirable to have more publications in the stated area.

Desirable Qualification : Work related to shelf life extension of fruits and vegetables, and post harvest management (at Ph D level or otherwise) is highly desirable and shall carry due weightage for this position.
