Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites applications for Draftsman Examination 2023

Exam name: Draftsman Examination 2023

Educational Qualification:

A Candidate for direct recruitment to a post in the Service must possess a certificate of Draftsmanship or a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
Intermediate from a Board/Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
Diploma / I.T.I. certificate in the relevant trade from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
Must have passed the High School Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
Must have any one of the following qualification:-
Certificate in Cartography of University of Roorkee.
Cartography certificate awarded by the State Council of Technical Education, Uttarakhand.
Three years Certificate in Cartography from Banaras Hindu University.
Three years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by Government Art College, Lucknow.
Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Uttarakhand.
Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by any other institution recognized by the Government.
Certificate in cartography awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training to the trainees of the Industrial Training Institute, Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, fully run by the Labor Department.
Two and a half year certificate in Cartography from Aligarh University

Recruitment Details

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 64 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number A-1/Draftsman/S-2/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 40 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Ex-Servicemen will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Women, PWBD Quota, Ex-servicemen, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections . The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Uttarakhand, India, 246130.
