Post Name: Technical Assistant

Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in IT or Computer Applications with knowledge in hardware.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum Two years experience in the field.

Desirable: 

1. Experience in handling the Office Document Management Computer applications like DDFS (Digital Document Filing System), IUMS (integrated University Management System), OspynDocs, eOffice, etc, used by the Universities and other Government Institutions in Kerala.

2. Experience in handling the Attendance management software like MATRIX COSECAPTA, which is used by the Kerala Government/Universities in Kerala for managing the Biometric Attendance Management System (Punching System).

3. Experience in handling the online platform used in the Government Sector for purchase of Goods and Services, like GeM (Government eMarketplace), CPRCS (centralised Procurement and Rate Constract System)-KeGiP (Kerala e-Governance IT Procurement Portal)etc.

4. Experience in handling the firewall software like SOPHOS, Cyberome, etc.

5. Experience in Ubuntu and MS Windows Operating System installation and hardware Application Support.

Post Name: Technician

Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in IT of computer Applications with knowledge in hardware.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum Two years experience in the field.

Desirable:

1. Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (Microsoft Certified IT/ Professional CCNA).

2. Experience in setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.

3. Experience in Managing and Monitoring of various Servers.

4. Experience in giving support for all IT integrated equipment installed in Science Labs.

5. Experience in Installation and Maintenance of Large Network (LAN/WAN, Like Campus) and Fibber Lines.

6. Experience in maintenance of Network (LAN and Fibber Lines).

7. Experience in Firewall Maintenance (Monitoring and updated of firewall rules and polices).

8. Experience in CCTV Maintenance.
