ICMR National Institute of Occupational Health invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc./M. Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least 1 research paper in science Citation Indexed (SCl) Journal.

Desirable: Candidate having extensive research experience in environmental microbiology and microbial content analysis, antimicrobial resistance studies, molecular biology & bioinformatics, metagenomics and NGS data analysis with good research publications as documentary evidence will be preferred.

Candidate will be required to do field visits and liaison with other organizations. Experience of working on field and handling environmental and human samples will be an added advantage. Proficiency in scientific writing.

Post Name: Project Technical Support-III

Essential Qualification: Graduate in (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics) + Three-year experience in relevant subject/field. or

Post graduate in (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics)

Desirable: Candidate with knowledge and technical experience of environmental microbiology, microbial isolation and characterization technique, molecular biology tool will be preferred.

Candidate will be required to do field visits as per requirement. Experience of working on field and handling, microbial culture, molecular techniques, environmental sampling and human samples will be an added advantage. Candidates with MLT will be additional qualification to perform blood collection, biochemistry, immunological profiling of the biological sample.
