Indian Institute of Technology BHU invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering/ Physics or three years of research/ teaching experience after M.Tech/M.E/MSc in Mechanical Engineering/ Physics with at least one research paper published in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. The candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and having consistently good academic records are also eligible for the position.

Desirable: Ph.D. work in the area of Heat & Mass Transfer (Experimental or Computational) / Computational Fluid Dynamics. The candidate should have strong background in PIV/Optical techniques for field measurements, Interferometry/OpenFOAM/Ansys-Fluent/MATLAB. Candidate having SCI papers in reputed journals will be preferred. Candidate with experimental background in optical techniques/interferometry will be given preference. The applicant should have good academic background. He/She should be able to work independently, can write project report and research publication and provide support to other members of the group.
