Essential Qualification:
1. Graduation with minimum 50% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized Board/University is essential. The aspect of caste/tribe and unaffiliated category has been mentioned in the rule that 5 percent relaxation will be given in the minimum marks. Preference will be given to the merit in the selection. Creatines matriculation and passing of intermediate examination from Jharkhand. will be mandatory.
2. B.Ed equivalent examination from a recognized institution such as passing in teacher training examination in two years Diploma in Elementary Education will be mandatory.
3. According to the guidelines formulated by the National Teacher Education Council, it will be mandatory to stop in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Government of Jharkhand for class 6 to class 8. Physical Education Compulsory TET is not Compulsory. The preference of TET has been registered by the State Govt.
