Post Name : Scientist-D

Essential Qualification : 

(1) Scientists or Technologists working in the Central Government or State Governments or Universities or recognized research Institutions or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations in India or abroad: (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay level-11 of the 7 CPC (pre-revised pay band-3, 15600-39100 with grade pay of 6600) or equivalent;

(2) Masters Degree in Physics from a recognized University or equivalent.

Essential Work Experience : Eight years experience in research and development in industrial and academic Institution or science and technology organizations or scientific activities and services, out of which four years shall be in science and technology programme, planning, development and co-operation.

Desirable : Doctorate degree in Physics from a recognized University or equivalent.
