Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in Undergraduate and Certificate Programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -


Course name: Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc.(N.S.)]
Essential Qualification: 10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks in all subjects of PCB or PCM and also 50% marks in English either in 10th or +2 std. In the case of SC/ST students only a pass is required in the qualifying examination with the above subjects. However, the candidate with PCM group will be directly eligible for GMDSS after BFSc(NS) degree.

Course name: Vessel Navigator Course (VNC) & Marine Fitter Course (MFC)

Essential Qualification: Pass in 10th Standard or equivalent examination with 40% marks in Maths and Science separately for VNC and MFC. Attested copy of mark list of 10th Std. or equivalent examination should be enclosed with application even if candidate possesses higher qualification. The candidates who are appearing 10th examination during March-June 2022 are also eligible to apply.
