Indian Bureau of Mines invites applications for the following post via Deputation:

Post Name: Mineral Economist (Intelligence)

Essential Qualification: 

• Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or,

• With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in post in level 11 (67700-208700) in pay matrix or equivalent; and,

• Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Economics or Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognised University or institute;

Essential Work Experience: Ten years experience in the field of mineral economics, namely, conducting demand supply studies, market survey of minerals, mineral inventory, mineral legislation, world mineral intelligence, investigation of economic aspect of mineral resources and production and consumption or utilisation of minerals, analysis and dissemination of information.
