Essential Qualification:
M. Sc. Microbiology/ Marine Microbiology/ Marine Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
M.Sc Marine Biology / Biotechnology / Zoology.
M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Sc. Tech in Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics.
Desirable:
Experience in analyses of marine microbial samples, microbiological techniques, molecular biology techniques, collection and preservation of marine samples for microbiological observations.To assist the scientists in laboratory and field for sample collection, processing and analysis. The selected candidate will be required to undertake extensive field work on board oceanographic vessels and boats.
With experience in working with marine sample collection and seaweed diversity. Seaweed cultivation at various coastal locations. Involves extensive traveling and field work.
Minimum One year Experience in Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing. The selected candidates need to assist the Project Leader in Geophysical data acquisition, processing and interpretation. Preparation of project reports and scientific publication. Any other assignment for the fulfillment of the project targets. Working Experience in C/C++, Matlab, GMT, Unix/Linux

Essential Qualification: MSc. Biotechnology with minimum 2 years research experience in geomicrobiological analysis of sediment and water samples.
Desirable: Knowledge of analysis of data using different software like statistica, grapher and surfer. Knowledge on microbiological and biochemical analysis. Should have experience on cruises and field work. To assist scientist in samples collection during field works, sample and data analysis and in computer based statistics and any other research related activity.
