Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • 1st Class M.Sc. Botany/ MSc. Lifesciences /M.Sc Forestry with specialization in Ecology / M.Sc. Plant Sciences / M.Sc. Agriculture (Soil Science) / M.Sc. Chemistry

  • Knowledge of English (Speak, read, write)

  • Capable to work in field and laboratory

  • Computer proficiency - Intermediate in MS Office

Desirable:

  • Capable to perform laboratory analysis

  • Knowledge in Computer Applications and Statistics

  • Capable of extensive touring in forest areas for the collection of data/information

 

Post Name: Junior Project Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  • 1st Class M.Sc. Botany / M.Sc Forestry specialization Forest Pathology or Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. Plant Sciences / M.Sc. Agriculture (Entomology)

  • Knowledge of English (Speak, read, write)

  • Capable to work in field and laboratory

  • Computer proficiency-Intermediate in MS Office

Desirable:

  • Skilled in identification of macrofungi

  • Skilled in identification of insects/pests of plant species

  • Knowledge in Computer Applications and Statistics

  • Capable of extensive touring in forest areas for the collection of data/information

Recruitment Details

Institute of Forest Biodiversity invites application for various posts. Total 4 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 1-241/IFB/AICRP-JRF/JPF/PA/FA/2022-23/972. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 27, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post.
