Homi Bhabha Centre For Science Education invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post:

Post Name: Project Scientific Officer-B

Essential Qualification: Full Time Masters degree in Physics from a recognized University/Institute with aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Essential Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in developing interactive simulations for learning physics (portfolio needed). Programming experience, specifically in Javascript, Python, and Unity. Experience developing neural network models and other machine learning models, particularly to model scientific data and phenomena.

Desirable: 

1. Additional degree or training in education research. (Such as MA in Education, B.Ed, Teaching experience etc.)

2. Experience in developing embodied interactions for learning, using software and hardware in an integrated fashion.

3. Field experience in helping students or teachers learn/teach using such embodied interactions (portfolio needed on Walk-in-Selection day).

4. Interest in developing visualizations and interactions that help students learn neural network modeling and other machine learning techniques.

5. Experience in running studies related to education and cognition (Publications needed on Walk-in-Selection day).
