Post Name: Associate Professor (Psychiatry)
Essential Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the specialty of Psychiatry
Essential Work Experience: Experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned discipline for a period of 2 (Two) years in Govt Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu or teaching Medical Institution recognized by Medical Council of India. Having minimum 2 (Two) research publication indexed in National Journals accepted/published as first /second author during the tenure as Assistant Professor.

Essential Qualification:
(i) Possession of Medical Recognized qualification included in the 1and 2 schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section 3 of section 13 of the Indian Medical Act,1956.
(ii) Post Graduate Degree in Hospital Administration will be preferred.
Essential Work Experience: (03) three years working experience of running a hospital after post graduation.

Essential Work Experience: Experience as Registrar/Senior Resident in concerned discipline for a period of 2 (Two) years in Govt Medical College, Srinagar/Jammu or teaching Medical Institution recognized by Medical Council of India. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during the post graduation shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the post of Lecturer.
