Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Master of Technology

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria as defined hereunder are invited to apply for admission to MTech programs of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIT Bhilai as a regular student. Students admitted to the MTech program of the ECE Department may become eligible to receive Institute Fellowship as per the norms defined by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

• Bachelors degree in EC/EE/IN/PH/CS Engineering with first class, 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent.

• Valid GATE Score (GATE score in EE/EC/IN/PH/CS). Valid GATE score is not mandatory if the candidate possesses BTech degree from IITs with CPI/CGPA of 8.0 or higher.

• An ongoing degree may also be considered as a qualifying degree provided the applicant completes all graduation requirements before the MTech program starts (7th August 2023).
