Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. with at least 60% marks in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Climate Science/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Geophysics with Meteorology as specialization (or) related areas and having CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or any National level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Dept. and their Agencies and Institutions as per DST norms.

Desirable:

1. Experience in Climate Modeling (Meso /Regional /Global).

2. Knowledge of Computer Programming including software like NCO, NCL, GrADS, CDO, R, etc.
