Officer from Military, Central Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces, who retired from service in the rank of Captain and Assistant Commandant etc. equivalent to the rank of Deputy Superintendant of Police in State Police Service.

Desirable: Persons having knowledge of local language (s) will be given preference
