Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy(SVPNA) invites applications for the following post via Deputation

Post Name: Junior Scientific Officer

Essential Qualification: Officers under the Central, State Forensic Science Laboratories:

(a)holding analogous posts; or

(ii) With 05 years regular service in posts in Level-6 in the Pay Matrix 35400 - 112400/- [Pre-revised: Pay Band-2 : 9300 - 34800/- and Grade Pay 4200/ (Pre-Revised)]

(b)Possessing the educational qualifications

(i)Masters Degree in Forensic Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Toxicology/ Zoology Botanay/ Bio-Chemistry /Biology/ Microbiology/ Forensic DNA & Serology/ from a  recognized University.

(ii) Minimum three years teaching experience in recognized Academic institution/ training institution/ Academy.

(iii) Working knowledge of computers.

Desirable: (i)Ph.D in the relevant subject mentioned above.

(ii) Minimum two years working experience in Central Forensic Science Laboratory/ State Forensic Science Laboratory / Police training College/ Forensic Science department in any recognized University.
