Biju Patnaik University of Technology invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Professor

Essential Qualification:

  • Must have Ph.D. Degree in relevant field (Concerned Specialization).

  • Must have First Class or equivalent either at Bachelors or Masters level in the relevant branch and 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class if first class or division is not awarded by the concerned 1 institution or the equivalence CGPA as notified by the concerned institution.

  • Must have at least 06 numbers of research publication at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/UGC/AICTE/Scopus listed Journals and must have successfully produced at least 02 Ph.D as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor as on the last date of application.

  • Must have at least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/UGC/AICTE/Scopus listed Journals as on the last date of application. AND

  • At least a total research score of 120 (one hundred twenty) on the last date of the application (as per the criteria given in Appendix-ll, Table-2 of UGC Regulations vide notification no. F. 1-2/2017(EC/PS) dated 18/07/2018)..

Essential Work Experience:

  • Must have minimum 10 (Ten) years of experience in Teaching (In UGC & AICTE approved institutions)/ Research/Industry.

  • Out of 10 years of experience minimum 03 (Three) years of Experience should be as Associate Professor or equivalent

Essential Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech./B. S. and M. E./ M. Tech. / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees
