Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Program Coordinator-I

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Atmospheric Sciences/Physics minimum 60% marks from a recognized university or equivalent

Desirable:

  • A minimum 2 years experience in numerical weather prediction atmospheric modeling (like WRF or WRF-Chem), operating atmospheric instruments for aerosol chemistry, maintenance and calibration of instruments, and data acquisition,

  • Basic experience in model data analysis and post processing data

  • Basic experience in atmospheric chemical data assimilation relevant to air quality forecasting

  • Basic experience of using data analysis tools (like GrADS, NCL, etc) Handling of large volume of data like text, NetCDF, HDF, GRIB etc

  • Research experience in operating advance instruments (like AMS, MARGA etc) tomonitor aerosols and traces gases

  • Experience in chemical data analysis and source apportionment using advanced analyzing tools (like PMF)

  • Candidate should be ready to work in field campaign anywhere in India

Recruitment Details
