Gujarat National Law University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Assistant

Essential Qualification:

(i) Masters Degree in Botany/ Plant sciences/Environmental sciences/Climate change with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university;

(ii) Good knowledge of the latest national and international research trends and developments in Environmental/Ecological sciences and Law;

(iii) Working experience in MS Office, basic knowledge of information technology;

(iv) Strong analytical skills, excellent English writing and communication abilities, and the ability to manage research projects;

(v) Excellent research and writing skills;

(vi) Working knowledge of Hindi

Desirable:

(i) Research experience in carbon sequestration.
(ii) Experience in the identification of tree species.
(iii) Experience in biomass estimation of trees and statistical tools.
(iv) Working knowledge of Gujarati.
