ICMR National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Consultant (Epidemiology)

Essential Qualification:

• Professionals with MD or PhD in relevant subjects and published papers or

• Retired Government Employee with requisite educational qualification drawing pay in the Pay Band 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of 6,600/- at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required domain/field

Desirable:

• Senior level epidemiologist with more than 20-25 years of experience in TB epidemiology

• Should have experience in ARTI and Disease prevalence surveys as well as monitoring and steering large scale, multicentric epidomiological studies

• Should have been involved in planning, implementing, and reporting large scale operational research and modelling studies both nationally and internationally

• Should have published extensively both national and international journals

• Preferable if member of National or International organisation Task force, experience in guideline preparation, well-versed in NTEP activities and TB guidelines
